Shannon took her first belly dance class after she moved to Maryland in 2010. It was "love at first glute contraction". She continued taking dance classes from local area instructors soaking up as much knowledge, technique, and experience as possible.  It wasn't until 2019 when she enrolled in the Salimpour School (now The Salimpour Institute) where she feels she's been truly immersed in the art and challenged properly to grow within her truest potential.  She will be dancing to "Ismaouni",  with a Suhaila Salimpour Choreography

Jo  (NJ)
