What is the Improv Roulette?
Improv Roulette is a group improvisation performance experiment. Ever see "Who's Line is it Anyway"? Well imagine that with musicians and dancers too.
It was created by Elizabeth Joy and hosted locally by Gabrielle.

How does it work for the audience?
For this event, there is no dedicated audience. Everyone who attends Improv Roulette will share solo and group improvisational performances. All performers do get to watch other performers, but there is no audience only. Also, no photo and no videos, just improvisation.
How does it work for dancers?
- Come prepared to dance. You can wear practice gear or full costume, whatever gets you ready to perform.
- You do not need to bring music. Music will be randomly chosen for you (live music is possible if musicians show up).
- There are no photos of performances and no video.
- There will be time for selfies and any group shots during breaks. You are not required to be in ANY picture if you do not want to.
- If you want to video any of your solo performances for your personal viewing later, let Lorelei know before the event and she will check on that. No video for sharing online or live video.
- You can bring props you may want to use. There will also be props (including the rubber chicken) available for you to use if you want to borrow them for a performance.
- There will also be word prompts you can use to guide your performance (ex. "fast" "angry" "elbows"). And you can also ask for suggestions from the watching performers
How does it work for other performers?
